CNN's news reporter Dr. Sanjay Gupta who is known to be a former doctor now working as a head of health reporting team was among many foreign reporters eagerly reporting the aftermath of Nepal's devastating earthquake incident in Trauma Center near Bir hospital.
He was with his team for the reporting when he found out that the hospital required more helping hands in the state of panic as an six year old girl Salina Dahal from Panchkhal, Kavre had injuries in her head.
Dr. Gupta put his diaries and pen aside and put on the surgical gloves and masks and jumped into the operation theater. After the successful operation Dr. Gupta said "Other doctors form the hospital asked me for the help and knowing the situation I offered what I could to save the girl".
Salina is making a fast recovery after the operation and later the team of doctors and her grandfather thanked him for his extraordinary effort and an extra pair of helping hands.
