According to the investigation report submitted to Sri Lankan's sports ministry, Sri Lankan women cricketers were sexually molested for their spot in the women's cricket team.
The shocking revelation came after a committee of three members headed by the retired
supreme Court judge Nimal Dissanayake was formed to investigate the sexual molestation on women cricketers.

Earlier one of the senior member of the cricket team had claimed that the main reason for her not being selected in the team was because she denied the 'sexual bribe' offered by the cricket officials.
The accusations first appeared on 'Diviana' which is a local Sinhala language newspaper.
Sri Lankan women's cricket team are currently ranked in the 6th position in ICC ODI ranking after losing 4 match one day series by a margin of 3-1 to West Indies.
