Nepal Army's Mi 17 Chopper Crashed In Rasuwa

Nepal Army's Mi 17 helicopter crashed today in Rasuwa Dhunche.

This helicopter was used in the rescue operations of tourists hit by Langtang avalanche. The army officials have informed that a piece of plastic got stuck in the main engine of the helicopter during the landing procedure. They also have confirmed that there were no any human injuries during the incident.

This helicopter was scheduled to be used by the President and the Prime minister for monitoring the earthquake hit areas and the distribution of relieves.

Nepal army has only eight helicopters and this is the only Mi 7 that Army possess currently.
