Nepal is placed in group A with Ireland, Hong Kong, Namibia, U.S.A, Jersey and Papua New Guinea in a match schedule published by ICC. Nepal is placed in a relatively comfortable group for the T-20 world cup qualifiers.
Meanwhile group B consists of Afghanistan, Oman, Kenya, Netherlands, Scotland, U.A.E and Canada.
Nepal will start their world cup qualifier campaign on 10th of July against U.S.A. Next match is scheduled on 11th of July against Namibia, 13th of July against Ireland, 15th of July against Hong Kong, 17th of July against Papua New Guinea and the last match against Jersey in July 18.
Nepal is scheduled to play two practice matches against Oman and U.A.E in 6th and 7th of July respectively before the T-20 world cup qualifier campaign.
Last year Nepal qualified for the T-20 world cup. Nepal defeated Hong Kong and Afghanistan while loss to Bangladesh by a narrow margin. But Bangladesh topped the group and entered the next stage before Nepal by mere run rate.
