North Korean defense chief Hyon Yong Chol has been publicly executed by putting him in front of anti-aircraft gun and then blowing him into pieces in air.
He was the head of military of the nuclear power boasted isolated country. He is one of the top officials that has been recently executed by the supreme leader Kim Jong-un.
He was accused of falling asleep during an event where Kim Jong-un attended, showing disrespect and expressing discontent towards him and not following the orders.
He was executed in front of a crowd of thousands to let the people know the consequences of betraying and disrespecting the supremo.
This incident has not been confirmed independently but the National Intelligence Service or commonly known as NIS which is the chief intelligence agency of South Korea told that they are quite confident about the intelligence they have received and has been confirmed from multiple sources.
