Earthquake victims in several regions of Sindhupalchok and Gorkha received old and worn out clothes as a part of relief. Many people and organizations are actively distributing tents, foods, medicines, sanitary pads etc as a part of relief to earthquake victims.
Old and new clothes are also being collected via donation from people inside and outside the country for the earthquake hit people who have no any clothes except the clothes on their body.
People are now complaining that the clothes they received as a part of relief is adding salt to their injuries. They are furious about old and worn out clothes that include old socks, bra and under wears.
Many donated shirts and pants that are so old that they deserve a place in the museum.
Some people even managed to donate kitchen clothing and many grabbed it as an opportunity to dump old clothes that can't be worn but has been occupying an extra space in the house.
So next time you donate clothes, first ask yourself would your wear it if you were given the same clothes to you?
